Matthew and Corbin spent than a year sculpting their dream wedding pulling us into the stages to preview the visual vibe they imagined. Their ideal was an editorial‑style shoot—elegant, timeless—yet they also craved photographers who could be spontaneous honor each moment and remain virtually invisible throughout the day. When we finally met the connection was immediate; it was a pleasure to discover our visions were perfectly aligned. Their same‑sex wedding, on Lake Como unfolded with a grace. The guests seemed to radiate their quiet light while the décor, understated yet meticulously crafted whispered elegance. As evening draped itself over Villa Aura del Lago, the villa took on an aura the dinner tables arranged beneath the sky each setting a gentle invitation to the night.

Set in the breathtaking Castello di Petrata, one of the leading wedding venues in Umbria, this autumn wedding in Italy captured everything we love about our documentary and editorial photography style – a natural approach that tells authentic love stories with timeless sophistication.
We first met this amazing couple a year earlier for a romantic photoshoot in Assisi, and their connection instantly inspired us. On their wedding day, the magic continued: their getting ready photos look straight out of a magazine, their classy attitude allowed us to create editorial, elegant imagery that feels effortlessly timeless.
Matthew
Adanna was such a beautiful bride, self aware and such candid in a lovely mood. The room was so little with suitcases and dresses all over, but Maurizio managed to shot some very quick and editorial portraits with a dramatic light. When she was fully dressed, we moved out in the back courtyard as the late autumn sky soaked in the incredible colors of the leaves that covered the building. The contrasts with her skin and a white background led to the most beautiful editorial bridal photography in Umbria

Uzo was one of the most enthusiastic grooms we’ve ever met, he spent a whole year planning every detail to perfection, but on the day he lived every emotion fully, enjoying the company of his friends with zero stress

Dinner al fresco
The couple drove to the dinner with a vintage convertible car and gave their first dance among the tables in an enchanted atmosphere. This was also the time for preparing the cake in front of all the guests and cutting it under fireworks

After the cake they moved inside the glass house, they changed into traditional Nigerian dress and put the party on fire with a fun money dance

Your photos must look beautiful today and also in 20 years. This is why we avoid temporary trends like out of focus and blurred images. In 20 years you want a proper photo of your shoes and not a blurred photo because they will no longer be only photos but precious memories
