Hi! we are Maurizio & Serena, a married photographers team based in Italy and available all over the country and around the globe. Our team is completed by incredible videographers and together we document love stories with a relaxed approach and romantic & natural style.

We shot weddings and love stories all over Italy from Lake Como to Sicily, but also in Denmark, Turkey, Greece, England (Essex, Surrey, Cambridge, Kent), USA, Iceland, Norway, India (Goa & Mumbai).

Maurizio

Maurizio is a very multifaceted photographer having worked for the best magazines like National Geographic and Lonely Planet. His photos graced the COVER of more than 700 publications and did campaigns for brands like Costa Crociere, American Express, British Airways. He produced 2 photo courses and shot food recipes books. He started shooting weddings in 1999 with medium format cameras.

FAVORITE DRINK: I am definitely a whisky lover and you may find me travelling Scotland in search for some precious bottles
PASSION N.1: Playing electric guitar! I have been playing since I was 13yo and turning up the volume of my valve head amp on a rock ballad makes my day
PASSION N.2: Movies! There are evenings for French comedies and nights for Icelandic crimes

Serena

Serena has always been passionate about visual arts and drawing. With an innate sense of beauty, she represents the more spontaneous part of the couple from a photographic perspective. She loves completing Maurizio's work by taking shots from afar to capture moments and angles that only a very discreet presence can allow.

FAVORITE DRINK: Hugo, I actually don’t drink that much but if I have to…

Our approach is basically documentary, because we capture the day the way it unfolds, and it’s carefully crafted to strike a balance between the genuine spontaneity of candid moments and the elegance of editorial images. We understand the significance of both styles and believe that they complement each other seamlessly to create a rich and diverse visual narrative of your wedding day.

We are dedicated to providing you with a comprehensive experience that encompasses the best elements of every photography style while mitigating its drawbacks.

Our primary focus is on you and the authenticity of your story, but throughout your special day, we employ various approaches to ensure that every aspect shines brightly: from capturing raw emotions from the distance being very photojournalistic, to cathing genuine moments in a traditional way, to showcasing your beauty and elegance with an editorial approach, always carefully preserving your joyful vibes with artistic flair.

Our ultimate goal is to create timeless memories that transcend fleeting trends.

Our style is ultimately complemented by purely documentary moments in which we have revived the use of flash as the paparazzi did in the 1950s. It's a shooting style that we are glad has come back into fashion because it's how we used to capture weddings at the beginning of our career.

Our couples always appreciate the calm and attention with which we approach each wedding. There are situations where we like to offer our small support if you face moments of tension or insecurity, and others where we become invisible.

You will always see us as accomplices with a smile because, for us, photographing a wedding has no secrets and resembles more of a fun activity than a job.

Another thing our couples love is that we are a couple in work as well as in life, and we like to think that we bring the beauty and solidity of our relationship of over 20 years every time we work with a new couple.

"We chose Rellini art studio for out small wedding in Umbria. At first, we had chosen another photographer but when finding Mauritzio’s portfolio and the wide range of his artistic expertise we just had to cancel the other one. We had no idea what to expect, but we are beyond amazed with the results. Mauritzio took charge right away and made us (two camera-shy swedes) look like we could fit on the cover of a magazine. During the ceremony we didn’t notice him, but while seeing the pictures afterwards it seems he was able to be at all the places at the same time. Maurizio and Serena photographed our wedding in Todi, Umbria in June 2022. They were fantastic from the beginning. Our wedding was originally due to be in 2020 and Rellini were so easy to deal with as we had to postpone twice - they were very relaxed and accommodating.
