“Maurizio and Serena were one of our favourite vendors for our destination wedding at Borgo Colognola in Umbria. If you are looking for a wedding photography duo who will put you at ease whilst taking the most beautiful candid photos of you and your guests, look no further! Maurizio and Serena delivered exactly what we were expecting of them and more. Maurizio took charge of directing the photography and videography team for the day, and even helped with organising the confetti throw, including asking the string trio to play another song. He was also very clear in his instructions about the poses we should take for certain photos, with him and Serena often demonstrating what he meant. They were both very patient with us as we took a little time to settle into the day and be relaxed enough for them to get the most beautiful candid photos of us during different parts of the day. We were absolutely blown away when we received our highlights gallery 6 days after our wedding and stunned when our full album came through a week later with almost double the number of photos we had booked in our contract. The best part was being able to see how much fun our guests were having while we were distracted with other things. Maurizio and Serena really took their time to make sure our guests and all of the details of the day were included alongside photos of me and my husband. They have memorialised our wonderful day, with all of its emotions, in truly stunning photos that several people have commented are like a Vogue wedding editorial. For our special weekend, we had the pleasure of having Serena and Maurizio. From our first meeting, they made us feel at ease. We started on Friday with our civil ceremony and pizza night, and Saturday for our wedding ceremony. Even though we were a big group, they managed to catch everyone’s beauty throughout the whole weekend.
They took their time with us to capture amazing pictures, but also with our guests, who fully enjoyed being models. We are so happy with the photos we received from our wedding and welcome party. Both Maurizio and Serena were so much fun to work with. They are very professional and extremely talented. They made us feel very comfortable every step of the way, listened to exactly what we wanted and gave us helpful tips/advice on what to do. Getting to work with Maurizio and Serena on our wedding day in Umbria back in May was an absolute dream come true. Their style is so classic, romantic, and organic that I knew I could give them complete creative control, and I'm glad I did! Maurizio and Serena were so great! We did the night before our wedding with a rehearsal dinner shoot and the day of the wedding. They spent so much time with us and made us feel comfortable and at ease getting our photos taken! What can I say, Maurizio and Serena were an absolute pleasure to have as part of our wedding on 26th April 2025. We got married in Castello di Montignano, Umbria! I found Rellini Art studio online but they also came highly recommended from the venue. They were super easy to deal with and very professional on the day of the wedding. I had Maurizio with myself and the bridesmaids and Serena was with my husband and his groomsmen at the start of the day, they captured such beautiful shots, we got married outside in the Hortus and the sun shone which made for some sensational photos! During the drinks reception we wanted less staged more candid with some group shots thrown in and we got everything we wanted :) Some of the shots are like something out of a magazine - they are just sensational! We also added in drone shots which are a MUST especially with the venue we chose, they came out unbelievable!! We got up on the roof of the castle at sunset and these shots are just magnificent! Maurizio and Serena are a dream team! We found them on Instagram for our destination wedding in Umbria, impressed by their more artistic shots and natural posing. They really didn't disappoint for our big day. They were so easy to work with and never overly demanding, never detracted from our day. Maurizio and Serena were absolutely incredible! They captured our engagement photos, welcome event, and our wedding day, and we cannot recommend them enough.
When we got our pictures back from our engagement shoot, we could not believe how beautiful the pictures were. Maurizio and Serena made us feel like models and movie stars with the prompts, posing, and stunning compositions.
On the wedding day, they were so easy to work with and willing to accommodate anything - even taking family photos in the middle of the dancing part of the evening! They had creative ideas for beautiful compositions and poses, and lots of fun pictures like being spun around in the air while holding an umbrella. They knew how to pivot and still take gorgeous photos despite the changing weather. We had full confidence in them!
They are also super quick with the turnaround of photos. We had our engagement pictures back within 24 hours, and our full wedding album was ready within 2 weeks. They generously provide all the pictures in color and black & white. We also added on black and white film photography using Maurizio’s film camera, so we are really excited to receive those physical prints.
On top of being talented wedding photographers, they are also landscape photographers, so they know how to capture not just people but also beautiful settings, which really elevated all the pictures and captured the energy and mood of the day.
Maurizio and Serena went above and beyond to make sure our day was captured beautifully, and we are so grateful to have these stunning pictures to cherish forever!

Maurizio and Serena were recommended to us by a wedding planner based in Italy. After contacting them and browsing through their portfolio, we knew they were the photographers we had been looking for. From the beginning of planning, they were so quick to respond and even helped us to book a videographer. They met us in Florence a few months before our wedding to do an engagement shoot. They took us to so many beautiful spots around the city, being so creative with backgrounds and reflections. On the wedding day, they were so amazing to work with. They came early so they could get shots of our pool party and when the weather took an unfortunate turn, they were so quick to find the perfect moments to still get some amazing photos. They even stayed late since our timeline was pushed back because of the weather. They sent us a preview so quickly and sent us the whole album in less than a week. The photos are so beautiful, capturing raw emotion and the perfect candid moments. I found Rellini Art studio on Instagram when I was searching for a wedding photographer. We planned an abroad wedding at Castello Di Rosciano and I booked Maurizio without any sort of trial. Maurizio and Serena photographed our wedding in Umbria in June 2023. We are completely blown away with the photos - they have captured the day perfectly and we have spent hours looking over them. The photos were also shared so quickly after the event. During the day itself we had bad weather, but Maurizio and Serena are experts at making the most of the situation and we still managed some exceptional shots in a small street of trees despite the weather. We revealed the day to our loved ones using the incredible photographs Maurizio had captured on the day. We chose Rellini art studio for out small wedding in Umbria. At first, we had chosen another photographer but when finding Mauritzio’s portfolio and the wide range of his artistic expertise we just had to cancel the other one. We had no idea what to expect, but we are beyond amazed with the results. Mauritzio took charge right away and made us (two camera-shy swedes) look like we could fit on the cover of a magazine. During the ceremony we didn’t notice him, but while seeing the pictures afterwards it seems he was able to be at all the places at the same time. He is so creative and positive, and ran around the property to find the perfect spots for both romantic and intimate and artistic and editorial pictures. He was able to chose and see the most of the location, and found the perfect spots and settings for each photo. Already the next day he sent us some of his favourites from the day before, and both us and our guests were amazed with the results. If you are looking for a creative photographer who is an artist, and wish for professional and truly beautiful wedding photos, Rellini art studio is perfect. You will get photos that will be unique and very special. It is absolutely worth to invest in them for your wedding (or other special day). Maurizio and Serena photographed our wedding in Todi, Umbria in June 2022. They were fantastic from the beginning. Our wedding was originally due to be in 2020 and Rellini were so easy to deal with as we had to postpone twice - they were very relaxed and accommodating. On the day they were great at putting us at ease and worked together so smoothly. We barely noticed they were there as the day unfolded as they were so subtle. The results were fantastic, such beautiful photos capturing so many special moments throughout the day. We were thrilled. They also had all of our photos ready for us in less than a week! Rellini was the first vendor we booked. None of the other vendors were as important as having the best photographer. And they were nothing short of the absolute best!! Their photos are artwork.
