We first met them in New York about a year before the big day. We travel there every couple of years, and that time the city gave us one of those perfect late-afternoon moments — the kind where the light hits the buildings just right and everything feels possible. Under the Williamsburg Bridge, with the rumble of the subway overhead and the East River behind us, we shot their engagement photos. It was easy: they were relaxed, laughing, completely themselves.
