LIVING LA DOLCE VITA
"Maurizio and Serena were absolutely incredible! They captured our engagement photos in Florence and our wedding day in Siena, and we cannot recommend them enough. When we got our pictures back from our engagement shoot, we could not believe how beautiful the pictures were. Maurizio and Serena made us feel like models and movie stars with the prompts, posing, and stunning compositions. On the wedding day, they were so easy to work with and willing to accommodate anything - even taking family photos in the middle of the dancing part of the evening! They had creative ideas for beautiful compositions and poses, and lots of fun pictures like being spun around in the air. They knew how to pivot and still take gorgeous photos despite the changing weather. We had full confidence in them!— Micheal & Adrianna, SienaRecently featured in

“Rellini was the first vendor we booked when looking for a wedding photographer in Siena. None of the other vendors were as important as having the best photographer. And they were nothing short of the absolute best!! Their photos are artwork. Timeless, just stunning works of art that now, two years after our wedding, we still love to have hanging all over our house. They made us feel so comfortable even on our most stressful day. They felt like family to us which made taking pictures that much more fun and that much easier. ”

OUR FAVORITE VENUES IN SIENA, TUSCANY
There's a reason couples from around the world dream of saying "I do" in this corner of Tuscany. The Siena countryside offers something no other destination can replicate—that golden afternoon light spilling across cypress-lined ridges, the profound silence of a hilltop estate at dusk, and the kind of food and wine that turns a wedding dinner into a sensory journey your guests will talk about for years.
We've had the privilege of creating weddings at each of these venues, and over time, they've become more than just locations on a map. They're places where we've watched couples exchange vows as the sun dipped below the Val d'Orcia, where we've shared a glass of estate-grown Brunello with a bride's father the night before the ceremony, where we've seen guests tear up during toasts in candlelit cellars. This is why we do what we do.

LIVING LA DOLCE VITA
Rooted in our experience
Wedding Venues We Love in Siena and Tuscany
Villa La Selva
Villa La Selva is a stunning estate nestled in the hills of Castelnuovo Berardenga. We especially love the ceremony garden, framed by its iconic cypress trees and reached through beautiful staircases that create the perfect setting for both portraits and spontaneous moments.
Another favorite of ours is the extraordinary pool area, with its white marble details and elegant Liberty-style atmosphere — an absolute dream for bridal portraits.
Recently, we photographed a wedding with over 100 guests where dinner had to be moved into the cellar because of the weather forecast. What could have been a compromise turned into something incredibly atmospheric and unforgettable. Plan B never looked so beautiful.
Villa Boscarello
Villa Boscarello is an oasis. Whether you’re enjoying an aperitivo by the pool or watching a wedding ceremony unfold in the distance, all you see are rolling hills glowing gold at sunset. There are no signs of human life — just nature, silence, and beauty.
Being Siena wedding photographer, it’s an incredible place to work. Every corner offers something visually inspiring. We’ve photographed ceremonies in the garden, but the most breathtaking setup — especially from above with the drone — was when the ceremony took place between the cypress trees along the gravel road at the main entrance.
Borgo Castelvecchi
Borgo Castelvecchi has many different souls. Inside, the rooms carry an elegant, slightly decadent early 20th-century charm, filled with character and timeless beauty. Outside, you can fully breathe the medieval atmosphere of the borgo, with its stone streets and intimate square.
At sunset, the light slips beautifully between the ancient buildings — we loved photographing one of our couples in the main square as the village turned golden and quiet around them. And of course, the experience would not be complete without mentioning the incredible food from the local kitchen, authentic and unforgettable.
Villa Catignano
Just south of Siena, Catignano is a Renaissance gem surrounded by formal Italian gardens, centuries-old trees, and a private chapel frescoed with delicate religious scenes. The symmetry and elegance feel distinctly noble—this was, after all, a retreat for Sienese aristocracy.
What we love is the contrast between the manicured gardens and the wild Tuscan landscape beyond. The downstairs rooms are one of our favorite places to create portraits. The dramatic light filtering through the spaces gives every image a timeless atmosphere, reminiscent of Caravaggio paintings and Renaissance art.
Borgo Stomennano
Borgo Stomennano is truly iconic, with the medieval village of Monteriggioni rising in the distance like a scene from another era. Every corner of this venue sparks our creativity and feels effortlessly cinematic.
Our favorite spots are the stunning façade — timeless, elegant, and instantly recognizable — and the bridal bathroom, which is so beautifully designed that we could easily photograph an entire editorial session there alone.
CASTELLO La Leccia
La Leccia is a 16th-century estate with a distinctly romantic atmosphere—think soft stone façades, climbing roses, and views that seem to go on forever. The gardens are impeccably maintained yet feel lush rather than rigid.
What stands out in reviews is the food. Guests describe the wedding dinner as "a culinary journey through Tuscany" and praise the estate's commitment to local, seasonal ingredients. For couples who see their wedding meal as a central experience rather than an afterthought, La Leccia is an ideal match.

Terre di Nano
Terre di Nano probably offers one of the most breathtaking views in all of Tuscany. Set on top of a hill, it overlooks one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Val d’Orcia, making every ceremony here feel deeply emotional and unforgettable.
The atmosphere is pure Tuscany. Dinners are often held al fresco beneath the olive trees, in a quiet corner of the garden where the sunset light turns everything golden and magical.
As a wine estate, Terre di Nano also offers an authentic culinary experience, with traditional cuisine that feels generous, refined, and deeply connected to the land.
Borgo di Sticciano
One of the things we love most about this venue is its connection to the beautiful town of Certaldo. We’ve photographed several civil ceremonies in the historic town hall, and we often take our couples into the medieval village for portraits surrounded by its incredible architecture and timeless atmosphere.
The estate itself is expansive and perfectly suited for multi-day celebrations, allowing guests to fully relax and experience Tuscany at a slower pace. The views over the rolling hills are stunning, especially at sunset, when dinner is served outdoors and the entire landscape glows with warm light.
The vineyards and olive groves surrounding the property add that unmistakable Italian feeling to our photography — natural, elegant, and deeply connected to the land.
Castello Vicchiomaggio
Castello di Vicchiomaggio is one of those places we always love returning to. What makes it truly special is that it’s still run by a real family and remains an authentic working wine estate, where you can genuinely feel part of the Tuscan wine culture and way of life.
The gardens are beautiful and full of atmosphere, and while the light here can be more challenging — with sunsets partially hidden by the buildings and shade playing a big role throughout the day — the overall feeling of the venue is simply incredible: elegant, warm, and deeply authentic.
It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard to impress because its character speaks for itself.
Borgo Santo Pietro
For couples seeking ultra-luxury in a natural setting, Santo Pietro is extraordinary. This Michelin-starred estate combines a meticulously restored medieval borgo with world-class hospitality, organic gardens, and a spa that guests rave about.
It’s the closest venue to the iconic San Galgano roof less church that is often a huge part of the iconic memories.
Castello di Montalto
Montalto is a fortified hamlet dating to the 10th century, set on a hill with panoramic views of the Chianti landscape. The castle, the church, the stone houses—everything has been preserved with care.
There are only a few venues like this that feel like living a dream in a real castle.
Casa Cornacchi
Cornacchi is a beautifully restored farmhouse with a more relaxed, bohemian sensibility. The interiors mix antiques with eclectic touches, and the gardens have a wild, romantic quality.
It’s simple but perfect and we had the pleasure of shooting small intimate ceremonies here.
Castel Monastero
Monastero is a restored medieval village that now operates as a five-star resort, complete with spa, Michelin-starred restaurant, and vineyard. It's polished and luxurious, yet the ancient bones of the hamlet remain visible.
Villa Cini
Cini is a lesser-known estate that rewards those who seek it out. The gardens are romantic and slightly overgrown in the best way; the views stretch across gentle hills dotted with olive trees and farmhouses.
Our favorite spaces in this villa are the beautifully frescoed rooms, filled with elegance and timeless charm, and the garden, where the setting sun filters through the cypress trees creating that unmistakable Tuscan golden light.
We especially love when dinner is set up in front of the villa’s façade — the atmosphere becomes incredibly romantic, cinematic, and effortlessly Italian.

Wedding Photography Across Siena and the Tuscan Countryside
once in a lifetime
Destination weddings in Tuscany are about so much more than a single day. They are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gather all your favorite people in one beautiful place and create unforgettable memories together. This is why we always encourage our couples to plan experiences before and after the wedding day, allowing guests to truly slow down, relax and enjoy the authentic Tuscan lifestyle.
One of the greatest advantages of getting married in Siena and Tuscany is that your wedding becomes part of a complete Italian experience. Guests can spend their days wandering through the timeless streets of Siena, enjoying an aperitivo in the iconic Piazza del Campo or discovering the medieval charm of Monteriggioni and San Gimignano. Every corner of Tuscany feels cinematic, filled with history, golden light and breathtaking landscapes.
The rolling hills of Chianti and Val d’Orcia offer some of the most beautiful scenery in Italy. Guests can enjoy wine tastings in historic vineyards, long dinners surrounded by olive groves, relaxing afternoons in the Tuscan countryside and scenic drives through the Crete Senesi. Whether it is exploring local villages, enjoying handmade pasta under the stars or simply taking in the peaceful rhythm of the countryside, Tuscany invites everyone to slow down and fully embrace la dolce vita.
Many couples choose to organize welcome dinners, pizza parties, vineyard tours or casual brunches after the wedding so friends and family can spend more quality time together. These extra moments often become some of the most meaningful memories of the entire celebration.
A destination wedding in Tuscany is not only about getting married in a beautiful place — it is about sharing an unforgettable Italian experience with the people you love most.
