Castello di Petrata wedding photographer

for Elegant Weddings in Italy

Being born and raised in Umbria shaped the way we see light, landscapes and human connection. Photographing weddings here is deeply personal to us because these hills, villages and historic venues are part of our own story.

As wedding photographer in Umbria, we stay by your side with calmness and care, capturing memories as they naturally unfold, unposed, emotional, and timeless images for you and the generations that follow”

If you are planning a destination wedding in Italy, look no further. Just send Maurizio and Serena a request right now and pray they are not already booked. Book them and then rest easy knowing that your entire day will be captured in the best way possible. We did a pre-wedding photoshoot, the welcome dinner, and the entire wedding day. Maurizio and Serena were clearly seasoned pros, knowing when to direct us into poses, gathering people for important group shots, and disappearing like ninjas to catch the beautiful candid moments. We ended up with photos that looked like high-fashion ads, romantic private memories, and bursts of absolute joy. Maurizio and Serena showcased the inner beauty and superstar of not just myself and my husband, but each one of our guests.
They documented every part of the day in such a touching heartfelt way and it has been so fun to relive the day over and over again. We booked them just based on their portfolio alone which clearly speaks for itself. But the real magic happens when you meet them in person.
They are a power team working seamlessly together. They take command in a way that makes you feel like you are in good hands (especially for camera-shy couples!) but also bring a sense of comfort and familiarity and I enjoyed the time I spent with them outside of photos - just talking about travel memories, their own wedding, and Italian wines. All of our guests were so impressed by them during the wedding and now seeing the photos, I'm getting endless comments about how they DELIVERED. Our photos feel very contemporary and modern but also romantic and timeless. THANK YOU Maurizio and Serena from the bottom of our hearts.

After photographing more than 1000 weddings, we feel incredibly fortunate to have documented nearly 100 couples at Castello di Petrata alone. During the summer season, this venue almost feels like home to us and holds a truly special place in our hearts.

We still remember every couple we photographed here, every emotion, every celebration and every story shared beneath the Umbrian skies. It is thanks to all those couples, and the trust they placed in us over the years, that we are able to do what we love today.

Our relationship with Castello di Petrata is built on mutual trust, friendship and a deep sense of familiarity. Being based only 40 minutes away allows us to know the venue intimately, through every season, every light condition and every atmosphere it can offer throughout the year.
