Martin & Sarah

For their wedding in the heart of Chianti, Martin and Sarah chose Le Filigare, a beautiful winery tucked away among the rolling Tuscan hills. They fell in love with its authentic charm, its peaceful and remote setting surrounded by endless vineyards, and, of course, its amazing wine. As true wine lovers, celebrating in a place where wine is such an essential part of the land and its story felt completely natural to them.

Their August wedding was everything they had imagined: sun-kissed, intimate, and effortlessly relaxed. Warm Tuscan light filled the vineyards throughout the day, creating the perfect atmosphere for a celebration that felt elegant without ever being formal. Every detail was beautifully planned, yet the day unfolded with an easy, spontaneous rhythm—good wine, long conversations, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling of summer in the Chianti countryside.

A celebration deeply connected to the place, where the beauty of Tuscany, the vineyards, and the relaxed spirit of Martin and Sarah came together perfectly.

Most couples book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for weddings between May and October. Popular weekends in Tuscany tend to fill quickly for destination weddings.

Wine is one of the reasons Tuscany is celebrated around the world, but here it is much more than what is poured into a glass. It is woven into the region's culture, shapes its landscapes, and defines its way of life. The vineyards that cover the rolling hills are not just beautiful scenery—they tell the story of generations of families and traditions.

In Tuscany, wine is also about connection. It brings people together around a table, encourages conversation, and turns simple gatherings into meaningful moments shared with family and friends.

— Do you work with wedding planners and venues in Tuscany?

Yes. Over the years we have collaborated with many talented wedding planners, florists and venues across Tuscany. We believe great collaboration helps create a smoother and more enjoyable experience for couples and guests.

We work with a calm and discreet presence, allowing couples to fully enjoy their wedding day while documenting genuine emotions and elegant moments naturally. Our goal is to create images that feel timeless, emotional and alive.

— WHAT MAKES LE FILIGARE AN IDEAL WEDDING VENUE?

What couples love most about getting married at Le Filigare is that it feels completely real. This isn’t simply a beautiful venue surrounded by vineyards—it’s an authentic working winery, where wine is part of the place, its history, and everyday life.

Set among some of the most beautiful vineyards in Chianti, Le Filigree has that rare feeling of being wonderfully removed from everything. The landscape stretches in every direction, with rows of vines, rolling Tuscan hills and changing light creating an atmosphere that feels intimate and almost timeless.

And then, of course, there is the wine. Celebrating in a place where genuinely great wine is produced adds something special to the experience. It connects the wedding to the land and gives guests a true taste of Chianti—not a version created for visitors, but the real thing.

For couples looking for an elegant Tuscan wedding without losing that sense of authenticity, Le Filigree offers exactly that: beautiful vineyards, exceptional wine, and the feeling of having escaped to your own private corner of Chianti.
