Ricardo and Norimar’s destination wedding in Umbria was much more than a wedding day. Coming from Puerto Rico to celebrate in the heart of Italy, they brought their families and friends together for four unforgettable days, with wine, beautiful landscapes and an incredible energy connecting every moment of the celebration.
The festivities began in Assisi with an elegant welcome dinner, followed the next day by a sophisticated party at their property in the Umbrian hills, overlooking the Assisi valley. It was the perfect introduction to the days ahead: long tables, Italian atmosphere and the unmistakable warmth of a Puerto Rican celebration.
Wine was the central theme of the entire experience. At Colsanto Winery, guests gathered for a relaxed reception among the vineyards that slowly transformed into a vibrant afternoon of Latin music and dancing under the September sun. A perfect encounter between Puerto Rico and the Italian countryside.
The wedding day itself was an intense journey through some of the most beautiful settings in Umbria. Ricardo and Norimar exchanged their vows at the historic San Pietro Church in Assisi before moving to Carapace Winery for their wedding reception. Surrounded by vineyards and the extraordinary architecture of the winery, dinner gave way to one of the most memorable parts of the celebration: the dance floor.
Music and dancing were at the heart of this wedding from beginning to end. As night fell over the Umbrian countryside, the celebration became increasingly energetic, with guests dancing for hours and bringing the unmistakable spirit of Puerto Rico to an Italian winery.
Photographing these four days meant telling a story made of much more than beautiful locations. It was about family, friendship, wine, movement and the connection between two cultures.
