An intimate celebration in the heart of Tuscany

A Norwegian Wedding at Villa Ravano, Tuscany

We have always loved photographing Norwegian weddings. Contrary to the idea of Scandinavian celebrations being reserved or understated, we experience them as incredibly warm and full of life. There is laughter, there are tears, and people are never afraid to show how they feel. Everyone seems completely present in the moment, which gives the day a sense of honesty and authenticity that we love to capture.

As Pisa wedding photographers, this is exactly what we look for: real connections, spontaneous emotions and all those little moments that happen naturally when people forget about the camera.

The countryside around Pisa is also a wonderful setting for a destination wedding in Tuscany, with historic villas that combine Italian elegance with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Villa Ravano is one of our favourites. It has character and charm without ever feeling overly formal, creating the kind of cosy atmosphere that immediately makes guests feel at home.

The beautiful garden at Villa Ravano is at the heart of the celebration. Guests can enjoy a laid-back cocktail surrounded by greenery before gathering for a long dinner al fresco. As the light softens and the sun filters through the trees, the entire setting takes on a beautiful warmth—the perfect backdrop for natural, atmospheric wedding photography.

For us, photographing a Villa Ravano wedding is about much more than the beauty of the location. It is the combination of an elegant Tuscan villa, the relaxed landscape around Pisa and a celebration lived fully by the couple and their guests. That balance of beauty, emotion and authenticity is exactly what inspires our approach as Pisa wedding photographers.
